Stephenson and Wendy DiAngelis are the co-founders of Bella
Weddings & Events, one of Connecticut's premier wedding
and event planners. While working in the entertainment
industry of Ballroom Dancing, Wendy worked extensively with
wedding couples guiding them through the many social etiquettes
of the dance floor and assisting them on the day of their
weddings. Additionally, Wendy assisted with the theme development
of social events to make the themes become a reality. This
enabled Wendy to develop and fine tune her innovative and
creative abilities. Wendy went on to organize corporate blood
drives and holiday events.
After attending some of Wendy's well planned
events, Regina developed an interest to participate in specific
areas of event planning. Regina began producing wedding and
special occasion cake creations for family and friends alike.
Requests began flowing in for Regina's delicious confectionary
creations. Pressing forward and expressing her new interests,
Regina found herself the owner of a cookie company.
However, Wendy and Regina both found that
they were looking for more...They co-planned their first wedding
in 1986 when they were called upon to pull together a wedding
in three months time! It was then that they both found their
calling, Regina's amazing organizational skills coupled with
Wendy's creativity came together to form Bella Weddings &
Events. They both attended Albertus Magnus College and obtained
degrees in Business Management to further bring expertise
to their company. Always a romantic, Wendy went on to become
a published author of poetry in the American Poetry Anthology.
Their skills in business communication also enhance their
abilities to encourage open communication to achieve mutual
understandings between vendors and clients. They conduct meetings
that are action oriented and achieve positive results for
their clients.
Bella Weddings & Events brings a multi-faceted
range of experience to each wedding and special event. It
is the pleasure of Wendy and Regina to assist a bride in creating
the wedding of her dreams...even those on budgets! They strive
to maintain a high standard of excellence while working closely
with the brides to ensure that their personalities shine through.
